Manta® works closely with clients to improve the way they manage their IP, primarily through implementing processes and procedures that facilitate the effective identification, assessment, capture and exploitation of their valuable IP assets. Manta can assist your organisation to develop an infrastructure and IP culture based on strategic IP management which is tailored to suit specific requirements and commercial objectives.
Our services are distinct in that they are not limited to the provision of a fixed solution or set of services. Manta appreciates that no two clients have the same IP management requirements and that to deliver effective solutions it is necessary to first understand how a client currently manages its IP and where IP management sits in the client's overall business model/strategy. Thus, we seek to partner with the client and together identify improvement opportunities and formulate the best possible solution.
Our flexible service delivery means that Manta can assume varied IP management roles, from taking full responsibility of a client's IP management (i.e. the client has little or no in-house IP management expertise and no desire to have such expertise), to more of a mentoring or supporting role (i.e. the client has some in-house IP management expertise and only requires external support on a project by project basis). Very often, however, clients needs fall somewhere between these two extremes. Manta also provides ad-hoc consultancy services that may be needed to complete a particular project.
